Monticello

Thomas Jefferson was one of my boyhood heroes. I admired his stand for freedom of religion and I’ve always wanted to go to Monticello to get to know him better… however, every time I’ve been near to Charlottesville I’ve been distracted.

Image my delight then, when I found this small packet of twenty pictures at the local junk store.

This was manufactured by the Grogan Photo Company. The package is undated but is probably from the Thirties or Forties. (correct me if I’m wrong)
